REBIRTH FOR UNRESOLVED TRAUMA
Invisible Wounds: Addressing the Ignored Trauma of Childbirth

When a woman gives birth, she is often left alone with her child and little support. In a best-case scenario, she might receive help from her parents or a spouse, sometimes, if finances allow, a nanny.
People rarely consider what a mother goes through in our modern times; in America, maternity leave is usually only three months, which can create challenges for her, bringing about, in many cases, postpartum depression.
Entering motherhood is a profound and essential process in a woman's life. She carried the baby close to her heart, had many sleepless nights, and breastfed (or couldn't, which can also create trauma.)
I've talked to many of my friends, and 90% had post-birth traumas, making them hesitant to have a second child.
Healing after childbirth requires care and support, and the Rebirth Ceremony provides that in a safe space, allowing the mother to release and express herself, healing any postpartum issues.

The Rebirth Ceremony: Celebrating Women in Their New Role as Mothers

The rebirth ceremony is beautiful in that it accepts the mother as she is, frees her, and lets her know she is supported while putting her past experiences into perspective, thus marking the closing of the birth process on an energetic level. It is the initiation into motherhood that might have been lost as most of the attention, rightfully so, had been shifted to the baby early on.
I believe that birth, this gift from God, should be celebrated with the mother.
The practice I provide creates a warm, nurturing space that helps one on their journey towards building the strength needed for healing.
Come celebrate with me.
